GA Green Quality

GA Green Quality is steel produced with lower CO₂ emissions. Together with our suppliers, we can offer steel with lower CO₂ emissions than traditional steel. This is made possible by electric arc furnaces. By using almost exclusively scrap in steel production, CO₂ emissions are reduced by up to 65–75 %.
Scrap-based steel is offered in many grades, but not in all, where virgin iron ore is still required in the process.
