Magnelis

If you need better corrosion protection than traditional hot-dip galvanized material, Magnelis can be a good option. By adding a small amount of aluminum and magnesium to the zinc layer, you can halve the amount of zinc on the plate while maintaining corrosion protection. If you choose a thicker layer of Magnelis, ZM310, you can even replace stainless steel material with Magnelis in some applications.

In addition to providing excellent rust protection, Magnelis has a harder surface than traditional hot-dip galvanized materials. This makes Magnelis more scratch-resistant. The hard surface also makes Magnelis less likely to stain tools.

Magnelis is sold in thicknesses ranging from 0.4 to 6.0 mm
