Magizink

If you need better rust protection than traditional hot-dip galvanized material and a cheaper product than Aluzink, Magizinc can be a good option. By adding a small amount of aluminum and magnesium to the zinc, you can halve the zinc layer on the sheet while maintaining rust protection. You can also use Magizinc in more aggressive environments than traditional galvanized materials can handle.

In addition to excellent rust protection, Magizinc has a hard surface, which makes Magzinc more scratch-resistant than traditional hot-dip galvanized material. The hard surface also makes Magizinc less likely to stick to tools.

Magizinc is sold in thicknesses from 0.4 – 2.0 mm
